Hi there,
I have filed for my AOS I-485 in January of 2018 (EB1-A), and have received my EAD since then, then re-applied for renewal in Jan 2019, also got new EAD.
But still have never received a Biometrics appointment.
Some points to note:
1. Have called USCIS 3 times and they created 3 different inquiries (even spoke to tier 2 officers) for biometrics not received. None of the inquiries were assigned to an officer. So NO response received.
2. Also scheduled an InfoPASS appointment to local office. The officer said, "Your status says waiting to schedule Biometrics appointment, so theyre waiting to send you an invitation", which makes no sense, since this could be a status on the account for the past 1 year. The officer refused to provide any further help and asked us to wait, said an invitation was NEVER sent, so we didn't miss any appointment.
Does anyone have any idea what might be happening? What next steps can I follow to get a response from USCIS?
