Travel insurance while under AOS

Hi all! I have a question about how to get travel insurance while under AOS. I'm traveling for two weeks back to my home country next month and I need to get travel insurance to cover the trip - partly because I won't have any health insurance coverage while back home, but also because we're travelling to another country afterwards and they require that I get medical insurance. I've done a few inquiries here, but all of the US-based companies won't cover me as I am not a US-citizen or have my green card yet. However, the companies back home won't cover me either, as you can't get travel insurance coverage for your home country.
