This is awesome. Congrats. Where was your field office ? Btw what do you consider your case was easy? Were you under a different status ? I ask because my husband has had TPS for the past 20 years and he's always except for one time to complete biometrics and he already had an A number.

Thank you. My field office was in San Bernardino, CA. I think my case was easy because I have applifed for DACA 4 times, I entered through a VISA, I have no criminal record, my wife and I have a 6 month old baby and I sent a lot of documentation. The USCIS officer didn't even ask us about our marriage ceremony.

have heard nothing since. Online check status says case have been received and fingerprint fees received. Anyone here filing under the same category as i am and is still waiting after biometrics? Whats the usual timeline?

Did you send I-693 with your I-485? Maybe that or other thing. No way to know until you receive the actual letter.

Just wanted to update my status. Had my interview this past friday and was approved on the spot. The status for my I-485 changed on Sunday saying that on 5/31 my card was being produced.

Wow!!! That’s insanely quick .... where are you locayed and was it NBC center ?

Hey Guys,

To God be the glory!

Had my interview yesterday and just wanted to inform you guys on how it went. Got there 30 mins before the interview.and they called us in promptly to begin at 10am.
He informed us that he had not gone thru our file before and would be doing so while we conduct the interview. We then said the oath and began.

He asked:
How did we meet?
Where was she(my wife is the citizen btw) born?
Whats each other's birthday?
Whats my parents in law names?
Where we both work and what we do?
What's the plan after I get the green card?
Whats our wedding day?

We were in there for an HOUR because he took so long to go through our huge file. I became really bored in there. Plus the fact that me and my wife live in different states and he said he was just tryna make sense of everything while writing down his notes as we talked.
After he was done he looked at our supporting documents and kept some pictures and other documents establishing a relationship and told me I had been approvedand whats the next step in renewing to get the 10 yr green card and filing for citizenship. We had a couple of jokes after and he wished us luck.
Interview went smooth. No need to be nervous in there if you are not doing anything wrong. These guys are just doing their jobs. Being nervous will actually make you talk too much or give wrong answers by mistake.
