Nothing so far. It's been under waiting to be scheduled for interview since 5/16/2019. I've sent two requests but all we get back is that we are in queue for an interview. Maryland it's taking so long.

Got my interview letter today. Interview will be 11/27 at the Santa Ana field office.

Sorry for the late update, but the holiday got in the way.

I had my interview last Wednesday, and I was approved on the spot.

The interview was at 11:30, and I arrived with my lawyer at 11:15. The waiting room was not very full, only about 15 people total. We checked in and I was called after a few minutes to the counter to get my picture and fingerprints taken, then I was told to wait until I was called by an officer. At around 12:15, we were called in.

The interview itself was pretty quick. Lasted about 15 minutes. I got the impression the officer was quite familiar with my case. Started by administering the oath, then sat down and started asking questions, first by verifying the biographic information on the I-485, then by asking a few questions about my job and my duties, then by asking a few of the Yes/No questions. Since I was adjusting under 245i, he specifically asked the questions I had answered Yes to. There were 3 and he just verified my responses to those and kept going.

Then he asked if I had proof of physical presence. I was a derivative beneficiary of a petition filed for my mom in early 2001, so I had to prove her physical presence. I had brought 4 documents, but I showed him the first and he said that would be enough.

After that he said he was satisfied and I was approved on the spot.

Once I left the office I got the notification that card was in production.

So glad this process is nearly over now. Needless to say lots of celebration was in order over the long weekend.

Anyone still waiting for an interview?? Still no update since receiving our EAD/AP in September. Should we call?? Our field office is Newark and we are family based (daughter is USC and we live in NJ)

Congratulations go get that GC!!!!. I am glad to see some movement. Are you marriage based? I've noticed a lot of cases with PDs after August 2019 and a few will have or have had their interviews.
