Dear anyone that can help me.
I recently came to the US on a visa waiver program and ran into some old friends. I was on my fathers e-2 visa when i was a kid. I ran into my high school sweetheart, we fell in love again, and now want to marry.
Is this going to be a problem because i am on a visa waiver? I have heard that i need to go back to london to apply for it all. Trouble is, i can't afford any of that. I didn't intend to stay out here, my visa waiver is still valid until october.
Any suggesstions? Should I wait for a while to get married, so it doesn't look like a sham marriage? Then when we get married should we just apply for my adjustment of status. We have proof of our relationship, which lasted 3 1/2 years.
Man, why can't it be easier!!?
Thanks for your time.
