I-485 transfer from one local office to another local office

Subject: [immigrationforum] I-485 Case Transfer from one local office to other local office

I am living and working in California for last six years and my company
head quarter is NewJersey. My company filed I-485 at Vermont NSC. I
received FingerPrint Notice to appear at NJ, but i finished it at
california itself. Vermont NSC transfered my case to NEWARK NJ local
office to schedule interview.

Can i transfer my case to California? Are they any risk involved?
will it delay my case if transfer to california?

Any inputs are welcome. Please help.

I'm not sure about employments based green cards but for family based ones California has a significantly much longer wait time so I'm sure a dealy will b ethe result...........Fly to newark for the interview. The local offcie is five minutes from the airport, depending on the tim e of th einterview you probably wont even have to overnight.............i would opt for that than risk a delay
