  • how long for processing time for I-485

    I have been thru the interview for I-485 and the officer ask me to come home and wait for the result with in 3-6weeks?is that a normal time to process for all I-485 case?

    I did not receive any anwser from the officer that i passed the interview

    and did not hear any result from the officer that to let me know i passed this interview or not.....? pls help me for this situation........i am so depress......

      The wait time varies. It could hav ebeen approved that day but its not uncommon to wait a month or months before you get an answer. The background check could take as long as a year. Just b epositive and wait.

        I had my Interview on april 11 2006,3 days ago I got the letter says intend to deny on my case because immigration find some evidence,which are not true.I have to send them some request so they can process my case again.I am really married for 3 years.Good Luck

          Its easier next tim eif you begin a brand new thread..............its always agoood point to engage the services of an experienced attorney at this stage,,,,,,,,,how you respond to the Notice of Intent to Deny will be crucial
