GC,How long after AOS interview ?

I went for interview last month,some document was lost,we send them 2 weeks ago.Not any receipt or approval notice yet from them .is it normal?and do they send me GC without approval letter?
ps;I need to work,but no EAD ,they got every Government document at interview.

Thats tough to answer...........for some its around 10 days, for others months. I waited almost ayear after my interview and I got the card without the approval letter. They waited six months to request additional evidence and then i waited for another six for the card. Its very unpredicatble. No receipt notice for the documnets after a AOS interview is normal. Its a gamble but you might want to consider applying for renewal of your EAD in the meantime. of course you could apply today and the card comes tomorrow ....or not...........u could give yourselff a speciifc date and then if no answer reapply for the Ead.
