I have filed for I-485 in August 2006 when EB2 visa numbers were available for india and my spouse could not apply since she was in india at that time. Now the visa numbers are no longer available and does she have to wait for the visa numbers to be available before filing for I-485 ? What would be her priority date for the application ? Will she inherit my priority date ? Currently, I am on H1B and she is on H4.
