Approved I-140, got EAD, 485 pending. Can I change job before 180 days?

Hi all,

Here is my case:
- my I-140 is approved.
- my 485 receipt date is 4/25/2006
- my EAD was approved 5/18/2006

So 180 days since my 485 receipt date will be 10/25/2006. My current project is getting over on 9/30/2006. Hopefully I will get another project with the same employer or the same contract will be renewed. Even if I don't get another project, due to good terms with my employer they won't mind keeping me for another 25 days till I complete 180 days. But to be on safe side I have the following questions:

1) Can I change employer before 180 days on EAD?
2) If "Yes", will it affect my 485 application? How will it affect?
3) If "No", is it OK to be on leave without pay for 25 days to be on the roll with my current employer?
