I'm awaiting the I-485 to be approved. it was filed early May. My wife is outside the US. we are not legally married(no paper work done). she has a tourist VISA and plan to be here later this year to stay. we will acquire a married certificate. Can she apply for adjustment of status then? How long can she stay besides the date stamped on I94?
