Hello everyone,
Anybody who wants to share or give a sample letter to the immigration officer who interviewed me and my husband for my I-485 AOS? It's been 8 months already, the immigration officer in Newark, NJ assured me a lot of times that he will stamped my passport after giving him the required document during our interview last Nov 2005. He asked for my previous I-94 which unfortunately didnt bring that day (some of it were with me) came back then ask for another document. For 3 times i go back and forth in that office, I was assured he would stamped my passport. Got frustrated, he told me to wait in the mail. Its been 8 months, still dont know my status. (FYI, my husband got his GC 3 years ago)
My lawyer has been sending that immigration officer several inquiries but no response. She advised me to write a letter myself to that immigration officer. I cannot think of what to say to the officer, anyone of you ou there, your response is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
