hey everybody!

I married a US citizen a month ago and I just sent out my application for green card today. Do you know when I may get the Green Card?

Do you need one to apply for financial aid ( for schools). Thanks

it will be anywhere between 9 months to a year.
you don't need it to apply for financial aid.
u r not eligible for FAFSA but can apply for scholarships/assistantships etc. that are available to intl. students.

thank you for the reply. It really clears things up, cuz I thought it would take something like
months because I had talked to a lwayer and that's what she told me.
