when leaving the u.s

i have lived in the u.s for a couple of years, i came in on visitors visa, and did not leave. i have since lost my passport and all immigration documentation. i just got a replacement passport with nothing in it. will i be able to leave the country to go back home without problems? when departing the country what do they check? do they check anything at all? someone please respond asap

if you do not have any plans of going back in the US, it shouldn't have the problem. But you have to remember, you've been living illegally here so obviously, sorry to say this... you're gonna be BLACKLISTED...i dont know for how long but im pretty sure it's hard to go back here in the US. Goodluck!
