Who needs I-485 suppliment A

I want to know who actually needs to fill I-485 suppliment A . My lawyer told me that its not nacessary to fill it. If you fill it INS will take money they wont mind. But the fees is $1000 for that form and I was not sure what to do. If someone knows why we need to fill this form then please tell me...

You only need it if you entered the country illegally ( i.e without a visa) or are otherwise ineligible AND have a pending 1-130 or labor certification application filed ON OR BEFORE April 33, 2001. If you filed your I-130 afte rthat, it doesnt matter how you cmae in or what your circumstances are, the supplement will not help you
