We submitted our application for I-485 last year. At that time, my son was 13 years old, so he didn't need to get finger print. But he is going to be 14 years soon. I wonder if he has to get finger print now. I don't know if INS statement " your are between 14 and 79 years old" means at you file application or you get your green card.
