we are actively processing?!

My AOS interview done,some documents mising ,resent them,not GC yet after 5 months.i called USCIS explaind my case,they sent me a letter 10 days later,says:
"we are actively processing this case.however we have to perform some additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time."
Does it mean really there is a expedite in my case processing?

hi nikidy? did you recieve your GC. I have recieved the same letter"we are processing this case actively etc...." I was wondering if it helped you
