Please Help - 485 pending + Canada PR!!

My 485 has been filed in Jan 05 under EB3 and my priority date is not current. My lawyer guesses that it can take more than 2 yrs for my 485 approval.
I also filed for my Canadian Permanent Resident last year and I got approval in less than 9 months. I would have to go to Canada for few days during this month in order to get my PR card.

WILL THERE BE ANY PROBLEM TO RE-ENTER UNITED STATES ON "ADVANCE PAROLE/EAD", IF I HAVE APPLIED FOR CANADIAN PR? My 485 is still pending and I just wanted to make sure that US border Patrol have no problems, if I went to Canada to get Canadian Permanent Residence.

I am currently on valid EAD and Advance Parole in US!!

I was in same situation. We went to canada for PR landing and came back using AP without any problem. However it might be risky sometimes. Also if you have H1 then use that. It would be better to be prepared in case you are asked why you went to Canada. Usually an honest answer would be good. In our case they did not even ask at detroit. You could always say I had applied for both but got this one first. I will make a choice about revoking my PR based on the outcome of your case here.. (not sure abt the verbiage,.. you might want to check the moving to canada section for more info)

I will not be using my Immigrant (one time entry) visa and i will not land in Cananda due to risk involving 485 application being revoked. the visa expires in the passport on 25th nov, 2006.
Can i still travel to india from US on valid advance parole in October 2006, with the temporary immigrant stamp from canada? i hope that will not cause any problems with the officers while re-entrying to US during mid nov and USCIS will not be informed about my interest in PR coz i have not used to land in canada.
