A few questions about I-485

I entered the U.S. as a visitor, got married and now i'm filing for Adjustment of Status

1. Do i use my maiden name or do i use my husband's name?
2. Can i stay in the United States while we're waiting for I-130 and I-485 to be approved eventhough my visitor's visa may expire?
3. What exactly is my Alien #? Where can i find it?

1. When you got married did you officially change your name? If yes, use your husband's name on the forms;
2. Yes filing I-130 and I-485 gives you the right to stay in the US legally even though your visa expires
3. You do not yet have an A number it will be awarded to you once you submit the forms;
4. Be aware that the fact that you entered on a visitor visa and got married may potentially cause a problem, therefore be prepared to show that you did intend to return to your home country when you were entering the US on a visitor's visa
