  • Time to get A-no. from Vermont SC

    Hello.

I'm on an H-1B and married a US citizen a year ago. I finally sent my I-130 and I-485 forms to the Vermont SC on Oct. 17th and have not heard anything at all - not even a confirmation that they recieved it. I did send it using certified mail and was able to confirm that it got there. I'm concerned that I haven't recieved anything.

    My questions are:
    1/ is this pretty normal?
2/ does anyone know of the general timeline for this type of an application after the application has been sent in?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.
