Your case is an illustration of how darn incompetent some of those USCIS personnel are..............only applicants over 16 are fingerprinted so it must be amistake but dont ignor eit.....write nad ask for clarification because knowing them , they will deny their cases because of it. Youre the one who should have been fingerprinted BEFORE receiving your EAD but as you can tell.........

      kids biometric

I called the immigration about the biometric for my kids under age10..the customer service lady told me it could be for photos cuz biometric is not only fingerprints!! then i asked her agian and she want to transfer me to an officer and i waited 15min then i hanged up..
i will call tommorow and ask an officer again..
my lawyer said it is ok for kids to be there for the initial time to take photos!!!
iam not convinced yet but i will call again and let u know
my concern after the finger prints for me and wife what is the projected time usualy in the normal senario and what are the exact net things will happen?
      thanks

        Re

I think you can make an infopass appointment and visit the local USCIS office.
however, they can give you information based on the law but if you talk to a lawyer, you get slightly different information.

        Good luck.
