    Change of status from H4 to F1

    Hello
    I'm in the US on H4 visa.Recently I have been offered admission for MS in the state of CA.I would like to know if I can continue to study on H4 visa for the first 27 credits (as I will be classified as a resident and hence will have to pay half the fees) and later on convert to F1 visa with OPT in order to start working with companies.Please help.
