I-485 VS Canadian GC

My marriage based I-485 is pending for the last 2 years, due to the FBI CHECK.At this time I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the more than 2 yrs waiting period.I am planning to apply for the Canadian GC as a back up.Would my Canadian GC hinder the I-485 case in any way?
