What after fingerprints

I applied for AOS on the basis of marriage to USC. I got my receipt confirmation letter on 6th NOV and I went for my finger print on 8th Dec. I want to know approximately when I will get my interview date or whatever is the next step. Do I have to stay in town for anyother formality beside interview. As I have to go out of town for few days, if I someone can tell me when it would be then I will be able to make my plan. Thanks in Advance

How fast after your fingerprints you will get your interview depends on where you live, you can look up on uscis website to see your processing times

Thanks for your response, my case is at Nation Benifit Center. On 5th Dec updats they were processiong I765 for application received on 14th Sep. I was not sure if it meant interview date or something else. I just wanted to figureout approximately when my interview date will fall.

I765 is for employment authorization, it has nothing to do with the interview, you need to look for processing dates for I130 or I485 to approxiamtely know when your interview will be

I just want to know what happens after finger print? As my fingerprint date was 8th dec and our I-130 form shows LUD of 9th dec. I am just concerned if they have sent me a letter on 9th and if so then I have not received it yet. If someone had finger print in nov or oct then please tell me what did you receive after FP and what was it and approximately how many days after FP you had interview.

i presume that your District Office plays a factor in when you get your interview after fingerprints as someone said earlier. However, I got my fingerprints done on December 7th 2006 in Tampa, Florida and received my interview letter today in the mail. My interview date is February 5th 2006. I hope this info gives you some indication that you should get your interview letter soon.

Thanks everyone for your inputs. Does anyone remember which from's LUD got updated after finger print. Coz in my case I 130 got LUD on 9th dec while I had finger printing done on 8th dec. I beleive that we got up to finger prints so we are meeting all the requirements and we wont get any REF now, is that right??? Did anyone get RFE after finger print?? And also do you guys think calling local office would be a good idea??

I am in a similar situation like u r and am wondering what is going on. I had my fingerprint on 03/29 and the last update on my I 130 is 03/20 and for I485 and I765 is 04/04. I am here puzzled if they send my letter and it wasn't delivered. Let me know when you get yours. However if i were u and i didnt get a letter by next month i would make an appointment at info pass get an update.

i had my fingerprints in nov and my ead recieved in mid jan and my interview was on 13 f3b still waiting for a response as security check not back yet...so all the best
