You can try and take a chance. What is your present Visa status? If you have valid I-94 and Visa then you can use that visa. In that case you need not worry about Advance parole.

Advanced travel Parole - PLEASE HELP?!
Hi People!
My husband and I (officially married here in US but yet to have an Indian wedding) have an unusual circumstance here. We just filed for a AOS (receipt date May 8th, 2003) with the CSC. We also filed for the adv. travel parole (I131) along with it. ITs about 90 days and the processing date for I131 is still April 25th, 2003 (Immigration.com).
Now the problem is, we have an Indian wedding fixed for the first week of september in India and all the wedding arrangements have already been made. It is almost impossible to postpone the date considering the effort and money that has gone into making the arrangements.
Do you think we will be able to get the advanced travel parole by then? If not, will this by any remote chance categorize as an emergency situation whereby we can get a travel parole under emergency from the local INS office? Appreciate any help/suggestions/advice!

Thanks for your reply. My husband is on H1 but I am not on any valid visa status at present, hence I will not be able to travel without the travel parole.Comment
