You are not qualified to collect unmployment benefits yet, even though your employer paid for it.
You can only apply once you have your Adjustment of Status(AOS) approved.

I saw the EDD rules and I think having I-766 (with petition form of I-765) make you elligible for getting unemployment, BUT you have two problems here:
1. you should find the job as soon as possible in case of RFE
2. when you want to apply for citizenship they dig out that
