1/03/2007-Interview Letter Received
1/17/2007-EAD Update!!(Finally)-EAD Card Ordered
2/5/2007-Interview Date at Tampa DO!!!

I hope some of you find this information useful. I'm new to the forum and dont post too often but a lot of stuff here has been very helpful to me and I just want to help others. I will post about the Interview experience and I wish everyone the best in this oftentimes challenging and frustrating immigration process!!!Best wishes to all!!!

I applied for the same on 25 th nov and got FP done on 8th dec. But no sign of interview appointment yet. Although my online Last update Date of I 765 has changed but status is still pending. Do you remember what did your I 765 say when they might have sent you the EAD but it did not reach up to you??? I hope they are sending me my EAD soon atleast..

Hi Chrisusa,

On January 17th, I received an email from USCIS stating that production of my EAD card had been ordered. Today (January 19th) I received another email from them stating that my Application for Work Authorization (EAD) had been approved. I was also told to expect the card withing 30 days.

However, from talking to friends who have recently been through the Green Card process and reading posts on this site, its more reaasonable to expect the EAD card in the mail within a week after approval. Regardless, I'm not gonna be a victim of wishful thinking so I will expect it within 30 days but if it comes earlier than 30 days that would be fantastic!!

Bear in mind though, that my ND for my i-765 was October 30th, 2006 and my first update regarding my EAD since that time was 2 days ago (january 17th,2006). It takes a while. Give it another week or two and you will hear something. By the way what is your DO?

My DO is New Orleans. I got email yesterday that they have ordered my EAD card and I should expect in next 30 days. But I have not got appointment date yet. Lets see when that happens.
