I have appplied fro my 485 & EAD, so far I have not recieved my EAD.

My H1 expires by Nov 2003, if I do not recieve EAD by oct 2003, Do I need to apply for H1 extension.

Pls advise.

Yes. You have to apply for H-1 extension atleast one week before it expires.

You can get EAD from local INS

You can go and get EAD from local INS by showing your I-485 reciept. Just check with local INS for certain restrictions( I think you got to wait atleast 6 or 8 weeks after you file I485 to get EAD from local INS.)

Thanks mate, I will file for exyension by then.

I & my wife had some sort of marriage counselling a year back, Does that matter here in anyway.
