          Re:

          Hey Chris,

Your EAD is attached in that approval notice. Maybe the LUD is the online update documenting that your approval notice is sent. I wont be too worried if I were you because your EAD card is en route to you!!Keep checking that mailbox and remember if it was something of concern you would have received an RFE and you would not have received an approval notice.Good Luck!

              Re

              Hey Chris,

I dont think your new job will have any bearing on your interview. However, it can only be viewed positively by the IO. However, the Affidavit of Support filed with your I-485 is what the IO will really scrutinize relative to your Permanent Residence being granted. However, being employed by the time of your interview gives a positive indication that you will not be a welfare dependent. I am sure this will be viewed favorably. Congrats on your card and I hope you get the interview letter soon.

                Hi everyone..

I just wanted to tell you that I am going through the same long process to get GC and EAD. I just did my biometrics on the 1/26/07. I read what you guys wrote and it feels so good finding out what is coming up for me.THANKS FOR POSTING! . I don't think many people know the feeling we go through with the immigration process.
                Flav

IF you got married in June 2006 and filed thereafter, it is very likely that you will be called for an interview. Virtually all marriages under 2 years old are approached with considerable scrutiny by USCIS, thus resulting in an interview. I am sure you just havent received your letter as yet. USCIS is a strange animal and persons sometimes fall outside the norm. You will receive the letter soon. However, no one can say for sure when your interview will be but you will have one.

For a marriage-based petition your petitioning spouse must attend with you. It is stated in bold and underlined on the Interview Notice Letter. There is no way around that in my opinion. One more thing, try to attend your interview on the date scheduled in your letter because rescheduling may give you an interview a few months later!!!Any rescheduling with USCIS CAN cause a long delay. Just stay hopeful. You have your EAD so at least you can work. Just bear in mind that USCIS doesnt always do things in logical or chronological order!!!!!!
Interview is WAIVED if your spous is under the cuban adjustment act. Just wanted you to know that.
