hey everyone, i have a question about social security number, right now, i am almost 7 months in waiting, i still dont have any fingerprinting schecule, no ead sent yet and no interview schedule yet. its really frustrating waiting for this documents. anyway, my question is if i get my work permit, can i use this document to apply for social security or do i have to wait for the green card before i will get a number, you know how it is, you cannot get a job because you dont have a social security number, so i guess the only way that i can use the ead is if it will help me get a number, what do you think, all help is appreciated thanks.
