my wife and I received a notice from the ins for an interview,we went there the interview`s day ,answer some questions ,the ins`s officer ask for some evidences prove we live t****ther, she left the interview s room to make some copies of our pictures and some other documents ,as soon as she came back she gave us two pieces of paper one for us and one for our lawyer .the I130 has been approved .well the thing is i have to go before a judge asking for adjustment of status this march>i m in removal proceeding,talked to some lawyers to get an idea what is next?most of them are saying that will be another interview in court room (GOVERNMENT ,JUDGE ASKING MY WIFE AND I QUESTIONS SEPERATLY) (1)IS THAT TRUE?i believe but not sure that my previous lawyer had filled the I485 with I130 .i done finger prints for the special registration,that was december of 2002. (2)WOULD I GET MY PASSPORT BACK FROM THE COURT SINCE THE I 130 IS APPROVED? (3)am I going to stay under deportation proceeding until the I 485 is approved? (4) what is the max should i pay to a new lawyer to finish this case?
