Just wondering whether the following happened to anyone else?
I had entered USA at K-1 fiancee visa approved in Prague, Czech republic. Upon my arrival to the airport in Philadelphia, immigration office took all my original documents (apostilled translation of my birth certificate, medical report, affidavit of support...). I believed its official procedure followed by opening a file for me, so I didn't inquiry much about it.
I got married, applied for adjustment of status - send in all requested documents except the ones they already took from me at the airport - and now i am facing the urgent request for them from USCIS Chicago!!!
Could it happen then they lost them? Is there any chance how to force them look it up and reunite my file? Any ideas?
