had interview at St. Paul yesterday/
Hello,
I had my AOS interview yesterday at st. Paul office. it was not bad. My wife was taken first, then i was asked to go inside. She asked most questions to my wife, saw the pictures, took copy of Lease, Bank Statement and TAX return. also, made a copy of our insurance together. then she asked me some questions from the i-485, i-130 and matched the information....
Overall it was smooth.
AT then END, she gave me a letter stating that background check is pending.
However, my wife said that she was able to see the officer stamping our application red "APPROVED" seal. the Officer told me that everything looks okay but she cannot give a final decision since background check is still pending. it could take upto 1 yr.
Congrats to everyone who got approved and good luck to everyone else. i appreciate this forum as i have learned a lot from here..
I do have a question:::::: if the officer stamped the application but said background check pending, how long it may take for me to get an update??
