Hello All,
I am a US citizen and have applied for Immigration for my parents last year and the I130 is approved. I have got a letter from NVC to send me the $70 fees for (Affidavit of support Process fee), If I send them all the fees and the required documents, I think they will send the file to Chennai Consulate for Interview.
My parents have visitors visa for 10 years which they got in 2004 and have visited USA once in the the year 2004.
My question is My parents are comming to USA again next month on Visitor Visa and Can I file Adjustment of Status for them here only or not, instead of them going back to India and attending the Interview and comming back again.
Also I filed for my parents when they were in India does it matter for Adjustment of Status like you cannot do adjustment of status as you filed for your parents when they were in india, if you had filed when they were here you can do Adjustment of status otherwsie not. Is there any clause like that.
Please advice if I am able to file Adjustment of Status for them or not.
