Hello Everone,
My Wife received her appointment to have her biometrics on 4/14/07, this is a saturday does this sound right? What are biometrics and what will she need to bring? I am working out of town and it will be impossible for me to go with her, will this be a problem? Her appointment is in St Paul, is the address 2901 Metro Dr. near the Mall of America?

biometrics is the process of having the fingerprints and photo taken by USCIS. This is only required for the applicant, in this case, just for your spouse. There is no need for you to be present when this will be done. I belive they do have Saturday appointments as well, so don't be freaked out about the date..These data will be sent to FBI who will conduct a background check then send back the result to USCIS. The document she needs to bring is her passport and the notice letter. That's all..
