Hi can anyone help me out pleaseeeee let me start i recieved my first I-797 Notice of action, showing that they recieved my I-130,and it notified about a biometric appointment but that was it,It didnt give me a date or anything on the appointment? And on March 8th i recieved another notice stating that the petition has been approvedand that they have sent the original visa petition to the Department ofState National Visa center saying that they will contact me with all the proper documents and that I will have to go back nassau, bahamas to complete them or something,I dont know if thats true, or I misunderstood,Did anyone have to go back to there home country to completer any forms? I was in the u s for almost 2 years now i am married to a usc we have a daughter who is an usc does that make sense???/??

I will try to answer your questions in order and as fully as possible, however there is simply not enough information to give a complete answer:

    1. Usually biometrics notice itself does not provide the date of the appointment, what it says is that you have to call them and schedule the appointment, how much you want to bet that this is what yours says and you just did not finish reading it?

    2. Whether you have to go back to your homecountry to finish the immigration process (i.e., get a green card) depends on what you wrote in the documents you submitted to USCIS, therefore you have to give us more info (you can PM me if you want) and describe what was in the docs you submitted in order for me to be able to tell you if they made a mistake
