need help on what to do next

hi ..hope somone out there can help me .i came here to the usa on a passport from canada with my 10 year old son .i had a stamped letter from the courts in canada .stating that my ex husband aggreed to let me move with him ..although i do have full custody .i got married to my finacee ..marc of this year .we have been dating for over 2 years now .we are getting ready to file all the forms at once .one really bothers me though ...the affidavit for support .how much does he have to make to meet the guidelines ..and what are my chances of being albe to stay here with him we were seperatted once before in canada when he came to live with me .but got denied extention of stay .he had no job offer and no family there .i have a aunt here and two first cousins ..my cousin works for the state and is currently helping us fill out the forms...getting realy worried . dont want to be sent home .thanks
