  • Some kind direction...

    Greetings,

I am looking for some direction/information as I am a bit confused at the moment and time may be short.

My wife and I were married in Hungary in Dec. '04. She immigrated to the US early in Sep. '05, but we didn't live here permanently until Jan. '06. Coming this June will be the "90 days before the second anniversary of immigration" comes for her, and the time, from what I believe, to apply for adjustment of status and pay the filing fees.

Is this correct? If so, we've only got a few weeks to prepare and submit the paperwork. I've been doing some research but was getting confused because it seemed from what I was reading in some places that people who were applying for I-485 were somehow waiting for a green card or even just a immigrant visa. My wife already has both of those as well as an SSN.

From what I have gathered so far, if we do have to make this filing I believe I'll need form I-485, form I-485 Supplemental, and form I-693.

Can anyone clear this up for me? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Regards
