  • How much?

How much money does your spouse have to make to support you in order to get your aos? I am in the process now,I have to get my medical exams they sent a pink letter telling me and then I have to see if my family can mail me my birth certificate and I also need my husbands tax return and I also have a biometrics appointment on the 21 of may at 8 am do i have to bring anything other than a passport? and will they still allow me to do the appointment knowing that i have to get the above mentioned stuff done?

    Hi,
One thing is your spouse's income so that he can sponsor you to become a permanent resident (you can find all the information on the instructions of form I-864). Another thing is the filing costs for the process itself. Each form has a different fee to be paid. The medical visit cost me $250 plus the shots $100.
Only bring your passport and your biometrics appointment letter, that's all they need unless they have instructed you to do so.
Read all the instructions on forms I-485 and I-130. It will make things a lot clearer.
    Good luck!

Thank you salvador for answering,I am so worried about this I just aclled this medical place in saint louis they said it is $ 100.00 for the visit and insurance doesnt covered it and then I just called my family in the bahamas to mail me my birth certificate I have 87 days to have all of this done and then I just got the tax return from the irs today so I have to mail all of this off as soon as i get them 1 by 1 I just hope my husbands make enough i know 125 % of the government poverty and 100 percent if they are active duty he is in the reserves and it is me my 7 year old and my 9 month old that he supports. so I am praying that everything goes well.
