I-485 financial support info

Hi, I have a question relating the supplemental info required with AOS.
My wife is sponsoring me for a GC, and according to the instructions I downloaded online, together with form I-485 I only need to send the affidavit and evidence that she can support me (employer letter, W2 and tax returns for one, or 3 years back optional). No where it asks anything about my own financial situation.
However, in the forms I got in the mail, it has a "Notice" stappled to form I-485, asking for additional information from me, which includes employer's letter, this and last year's tax return, bank accounts, 2 months paystubbs, and specially, it says if I've been here for more than 3 months, I have to show how I supported myself.

My question is, if you've gone through this process successfully, did you send all this information about you (including previous years taxes and showing how you supported yourself previously) in addition to what's required for your spouse in support of the affidavit I-864, or Not?

If I didn't order the documents on the phone besides the ones I got online, I would have never seen this anyway. Is that something they would request later?

Hi,
My process went on successfully even though I only sent my husband's financial records concurrently with form I-685 (following their request). I never heard you could send yours as well. One thing you have to think about is your joint income tax return, but it will be asked only for the interview later on.
