    I-485 Question (Spouse in India now)

    My wife is in India and I'm expecting my I-140 approval in next 2-3 weeks.

    Can I file I-485 while my wife is in India?. She has to be in India for 6 more months. Appreviate your advice please. Thanks.

    Also My H1 is expiring in July and planning to file for H1 extension as soon as I get my I-140 approval.

    Can I file H1 extension and then I-485 next month?
