Valid H4 while filing 485 and visiting India

My wife is having valid H4 until oct 2007. I am filing mine and her's 485 together. She is travelling to India in July first week for a period of 3 weeks.

Is it possible ..
1) that she can travel while we are filing 485.?
2) Is there any criteria that unless 485 receipts are not received, she cannot travel ?
3) If its possible to travel, she will have a new I94 when she enters US. Will this change of I94 (from what was used to file 485) affects I485 Processing?

Since u said that ur wife'e visa is valid till oct 2007.....

Is it possible ..
1) that she can travel while we are filing 485.? - she can travel to india with a valid visa
2) Is there any criteria that unless 485 receipts are not received, she cannot travel ?- some say that its better to have the receipts with u, u can always post them to india after u get them
3) If its possible to travel, she will have a new I94 when she enters US. Will this change of I94 (from what was used to file 485) affects I485 Processing? - no idea abt this, i know that she will be issued a new I-94 based on ur H1b, but am sure of its validity while 485 processing.

she will be fine if the visa is valid during her travel dates, just dont apply her AP till she gets back.
