Hi, I am new to the forum and hope to find some guidance here:
The company I work for will be submitting my AOS in July, EB3 - LC and I-140 are already approved, and I have an H1B that is good until June 2008.
I have a hypothetical scenario I need help with: What would happen to my process if the division of the company I work for is acquired by another company? Let’s suppose that happens 3 months after my AOS has been filed.
What would the impact on my process be? What are my options? Should I try to stick around with my Original Company in some other group until my process is approved, or would I be fine becoming an employee of the new company?
Could someone shed some light on this?
