Place of Birth spelling is wrong in passport

Hello friends,

Place of birth is spelled wrong in passport and it is spelled correct in the birth certificate obtained from the muncipality.

Correct Name : Mahabubnagar
In Passport : Mahboobnagar

My I-140 is approved and I am about to file I-485. Will this 2 character spelling mistake create any problem?

If I need to fix this issue easier and faster, do I need to fix in my passport or is there any other alternative like producing affidavits or getting a new birth certificate from the indian embassy in USA ?
