can we add spouse later while the 485 is in pending

Hi

i am not married. since the dates are current i am applying for 485. my labor is approved and 140 is pending.
can i add my spouse details later to the 485. i am getting married in the next year.

Is it true that we can add spouse details as long 485 is in pending.

yes but you can file I-485 for her only if the dates are current then

One more question on the same

If I get marry and return, as you said if the dates are not current, then I can't file for my wife. In that case what if I get my EAD while I 485 is pending, Would my H1 become Invalid and so her H4?? She cannot travel outside US till the time I 485 is pending??

if you get EAD but still maintain your H1 status, not use EAD for work anywhere work only for H1 employer, and extend H1 as required she will be on H4 but will lose her status either on approval or your using EAD for work.
H1 transfers are also possible, if you wish to change employers

what if i get spouse on H4 and then apply for my EAD? and as you said we can file her 485 only when dates are current so the same applies for EAD...
