Marriage and I 485
Hi
I am not married yet and going to get marry by Aug 16th 2007 in India. We will back in H1 and H4.
My labor is approved and I 140 is pending. Since the dates are current I want to apply for I 485 before leaving to India for myself.
Can I add my wife details later to the 485? I heard that that I can file I-485 for her only if the dates are current then.
If I get marry and return and if dates are not current, I can't file for my wife.
In that case, what if I get my EAD while my I 485 is pending, would my H1 become Invalid and so her H4??
What if my I 485 is approved in the interim?
Can’t she cannot travel outside US till the time I 485 is pending??
