Will finger print expire?

I heard that if the finger print is taken more than one year before I-485 is approved, the applicant will be asked to re-submit finger print. Can sombody kindly tell me if it is true?

Yes it is true. The results criminal background check are only good for a certain period of time. These days I think they schedule the prints at the end of the process rather than the beginning.
