Is the I-693 (medical exam) needed at the time of filing I-485 (adjustment of status)

The instructions for I693 say that it is needed at the time of interview but some local USCIS offices may require it to be filed with the I485. This is for a family based green card petition (in the immediate relative of a US citizen category).

My local USCIS office is Seattle. How do I find out if Seattle USCIS office requires the I693 (Medical exam) form submitted with the I485 (Adjustment of Status) application?

I had to have it for my I-485. I thought it was mandatory at the time of filing.

IN my case, I had to have it by the time of the interview not when we filed the 1-485. By the way, I was using a lawyer for legal advice. You Give the Immigration officer the envelop sealed from the medical facility which did your medicals. I think you don't have to have it before you file the 1-485.

Not to worry if not included but certainly, its needed during your interview.

I haven't filed the I-485 yet, it seems safert o include the I-693 with the application for I-485.
