  • Decision after interview - please help!

    Hi there,
my husband and I, we had an interview almost a month ago. We were not told the decision after the interview, we were told to wait for a while for the decision. However, we have not received any mail from them yet. Does anybody have the same experience? How long after the interview did you get the decision? Was it approved?

    Thanks for responds.

almost a Month is no that long. It seems long because you are eagerly waiting. Concentrate on other things are you should be receiving there decision before you know it.

After a few Months, I would make any infopass and go check the staus of the decision.

    Good Luck!

        Hi,

We are going through the same situation. We had our interview on 2/20/2008 and I have seen no updates on the Case (checked online).

From what I have read and heard from different formal and informal sources is that after inteview typically 60 days is the waiting period. If after that period still no updates that get the infopass and inquire about the case in person at the local immigration office.

Some people also recommend to get the infopass if it has been 45 days since the AOS interveiw and still no updates.

Our interview went extremely smooth and I am cautiously confident that the result will be positive. But the painful or uncomfortable question is when will we get the result, that nobody knows!!

I just wanna share my case, I had my interview on March 10, they didn't approved nor denied it in the interview then I checked online the next day and I had an email that they approved my case 4 days later I had my welcome notice by mail and 7 days later they mail me the green card, I don't know what to tell you but wait I was pissed after my interview because it went so smooth and the officer said they will be mailing any update I thought they were going to denied my case but I got my green card 12 days after my interview.

            Good luck with your case!
