Just wanted to share my experience. I had my GC interview yesterday in Tampa. Our appointment was at 9am. We got there at 8:30. We were called in at around 9:10am. She swore us in. Asked me the questions on the I-485 form as well as my husband's full name, date and location of birth, parents name. She asked him my full name, date and location of birth and if I was ever married before (which I was). Also, she asked for our joint bills. I was so well organized, she said she hadn't seen a case like this in a long time and wished everyone was that organized. So people, please bring all your documentation! She looked at our two photo albums and that was it. She stamped my passport and sent us on our way. The interview took about 15 minutes. It was fast and painless.
My initial receipt date was May 16th. The whole process was 2 weeks shy of 3 months.
